Mt. Everest: Confessions of an Amateur Peak Bagger
I designed and built this simple site for Kevin Flynn, a partner at Martino Flynn, to promote and sell a book he wrote on scaling Mount Everest. Much of the story focuses on the events leading up to him reaching the summit, which itself is only covered in one short chapter. To show this idea of process being often more important than the end result, I used a menacing shot of the mountain with the peak just barely poking out the top of the masthead on its own.
